SAN ANTONIO – A "Back-to-School" Wellness and Community Resource Fair will take place Saturday at Catholic Charities' Guadalupe Community Center.
The free event is open to the public and serves people of all ages.

Catholic Charities said it will provide immunizations for children through the CHRISTUS Pedi Mobile Unit, and will give out school supplies for children who attend.
The event aims to raise awareness through health education, free screenings and fun activities the whole family can enjoy, Catholic Charities said.
"We encourage everyone to join us for this celebration and utilize all the great services available for the whole family," Catholic Charities said. "There will be healthy refreshments, door prizes, face painting and much more."
A DJ will be at the event, along with other family activities, including Zumba. Catholic Charties said there will be resources and free health screenings, including BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, dental screenings and mammography screenings.
The fair is being hosted by Catholic Charities in collaboration with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and University of the Incarnate Word Ettling Center for Civic Leadership. Community partners include UIW, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and the city of San Antonio Mobile Fit Unit.
Kiolbassa Provision Company will be providing free sausage wraps, and there will be other refreshments available. Catholic Charities said there will also be free haircuts for children provided by volunteer stylists.
The fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Guadalupe Community Center at 1801 W. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. on the city's West Side.
