Free music, Spurs start game streak this weekend
What's happening in San Antonio this weekend
The Hard Rock Café is celebrating a grand re-opening with a bang.
Friday night at 7 p.m., they’re holding a free, outdoor concert with The All-American Rejects, Everclear and Tim Halperin. Gates open at 5 p.m. The downtown venue has been renovated with brand new music memorabilia.
The San Antonio Symphony will host guest violinist Nancy Zhou for a concert on Friday and Saturday at the Majestic Theater. The show starts at 8 p.m., tickets range from $10 to $63.
Also this Friday, the Spurs take on the Dallas Mavericks. The re-match is the start of a three games in three days trip that goes to New Orleans before coming back home. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
This Saturday, Robert Earl Keene is back in South Texas. He'll be performing at Floore's Country Store starting at 8 p.m. It's all part of his induction into the Texas Heritage Hall of Fame.
And, finally, something to do with your pets this weekend.
It's the first annual "Bark in the Park" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Woodlawn Lake.
Admission is free, and there will be several opportunities for low cost pet vaccinations and grooming, as well as lots of music, food, and fun for you and your best friend.
