Weather Blog: Cold Front Headed To South Texas

SAN ANTONIO - On Thursday, we'll see a cold front sweep through our area bringing big changes to our weather.

This week we've seen high temperatures in the 80s and lows in the mid-60s. All that is going to change Thursday.

The cold front is expected to come though late morning into early afternoon.

The front will shift the winds from out of the south to the north. The colder air won't be far behind it.

As the front gets closer there is a 30 to 40 percent chance of rain.

Most of our computer models indicate that we could see rainfall totals from 0.01" to 0.10".

It's not going to be a drought busting rain, but we'll take whatever we can get.

As far as temperatures go, here in San Antonio we'll start the day in the mid 60s, go to a high in the low 70s, then drop into the 50s by the evening.

Before you head out the door, I suggest you take a jacket and umbrella. You won't need them in the morning but definitely in the afternoon.
