Police offering reward in murder

Crime Stoppers offering up to $5,000


SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are offering a reward for information in an unsolved murder case from last year.

The body of Bernardo Santoya, 40, was found in the 100 block of Rio Verde on Nov. 22, 2010.

Police said Santoya was last seen at 7:00 p.m. the day before.

Santoya was shot to death, and there were bullet holes in his car, which was parked outside his home, according to police. Police believe the gunman shot at Bernardo while he was standing next to his car then chased him down the street, where he was killed.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information in the case.
