2 sought in Live Oak drive-by shooting

Suspects fled after chase, crash


LIVE OAK, Texas - Police said two suspects fled after a drive-by shooting led to a chase and crash in Live Oak Tuesday night.

Shots were fired around 8:30 p.m. at a home in the 11400 block of Golden Oak.

Police said six people were inside at the time of the shooting, but no one was hurt.

An officer heard the gunfire and saw a pickup truck speeding away.

The officer gave chase and the truck later crashed into a utility pole.

Investigators said the two suspects fled, but police recovered a gun in the pursuit.
