Family asks community, witnesses to help solve Steven Tigar's slaying

SAN ANTONIO - Three months after a deadly shooting on the West Side, the victim’s family is looking for help solving the case.

36-year-old Steven Tigar was gunned down near the intersection of Reed and Southwest Military Drive on March 6.

Police said Tigar and two other men were drinking at the My House Lounge on Culebra Road when Tigar got into an argument with a man driving a black pickup.

The pickup followed Tigar and his girlfriend’s two sons, and someone inside fired at their vehicle, hitting Tigar.

Tigar’s family said the two men in the car with him that night have not been able to identify the shooter.

Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.
