Man shot while taking out trash
Victim grazed in neck after shootout on Sherril Brook
SAN ANTONIO - Police say a man who was taking out his trash was forced to exchange gunfire with two other men.
Shots were reported around 9:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of Sherril Brook on the Northwest Side.
Police said the victim was outside when he was approached by the suspects who fired two shots at him.
He was grazed on the back of the neck and returned gunfire. Police do not believe the suspects were hit. The victim was treated at the scene and expected to be OK.
Police are investigating and have not said what may have prompted the shooting.
