SAN ANTONIO - The new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises," is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Wednesday, fans got a small taste of what to expect in the next film.
Batman's very own vehicle, the Tumbler, made a stop at Santikos Palladium IMAX, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
“Batman is my favorite hero, so here I am,” said Timothy Mahone. “I can tell you right now on the engine, it's not a lawnmower engine, that thing is mean!"
Also on display was the Bat-Pod, a motorcycle-like vehicle also used in the film.
"I was so excited to see this,” said local fan Max Chiedz. “The tumbler is amazing. The bat bike is awesome."
For some, like Jesse Salazar and his son, becoming a Batman fan is a family affair, passed on to the next generation.
“I saw the 1989 movies, my dad took me to go see it in theaters,” said Salazar. “I'm a huge fan ever since. "
The Tumbler Tour now makes its way to El Paso, then three other cities, before the movie’s release on July 20.
