Travel agent refunds money after Defenders story

Tejano cruise overbooked

SAN ANTONIO - Within days of an Defenders investigation, a San Antonio couple is refunded the $1,400 they were owed for a Tejano cruise they were told was overbooked.


Luz Gallegos told the Defenders that he had not heard from travel agent Jacob Dominguez since Feb. 13, 2012, the day the cruise departed Galveston.

When Dominguez was confronted, he admitted there were four other passengers who were also owed money.

He also promised to refund their money by the end of the week.
