Teen describes kidnapping, rape
Bobby Moreno, his brother accused in girl's attack
SAN ANTONIO - A teenage girl told the jury a horror story that she said began when she visited an East side crack house in December 2007 when she was just 13 years old.
Admitting she was a runaway and a drug user, she said that when she tried to leave the home of Bobby “Spider” Moreno, 34, he and his brother, Juan, 45, grabbed her and threw her onto a bed.
She said the pair tied her to a bed and took off her clothes and both men repeatedly raped her.
The following day, she testified, the attacks continued and included rapes by other men who paid the Moreno brothers.
“I didn’t know until the door opened and it was either Spider or Juan standing there and one of the guys was giving him money,” the teen testified.
At point, she said, she was untied and injected with drugs as the attacks continued.
“I could move, but not that much. I felt weak,”, she told the jury.
She said she was raped by about a dozen men.
After two weeks, with the help of a friend, she managed to escape.
Bobby Moreno is on trial facing human trafficking, kidnapping and super aggravated sexual assault charges.
His older brother has already been tried and sentenced to four life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Testimony will continue on Monday in Bobby Moreno’s trial in Judge Ron Rangel’s 379th District Court.
