Parker, French team drop $20k in booze after loss
Franch national team splurges on pricey alcohol after loss
Tony Parker and his French teammates did not waste any time partying hard in London after they were eliminated from medal contention.
According to TMZ.com, Parker and fellow Spur Boris Diaw helped purchase $20,000 worth of alcohol just 24 hours after France lost to Spain in the quarterfinal round of the Olympics.
TMZ reports the team popped multiple bottles of Cristal and a magnum-sized Veuve Clicquot at Chinawhite Nightclub in London.
And they didn't party alone, several members of Germany's women's volleyball team were there. Boris Diaw even left a $2,000 tip when the team left.
France finished 6th overall after being considered as a strong candidate to win a medal.
