Police: Man fatally shoots twin brother at Seven Oaks Apartments

SAPD: Anthony Carl McJunkin, Brenden McJunkin were arguing over money

SAN ANTONIO - A man was shot and killed by his twin brother early Friday morning at the Seven Oaks Apartments in the 5900 block of Danny Kaye Drive, San Antonio police said.
Anthony Carl McJunkin, 21, has been charged with murder in the death of his brother, Brenden McJunkin.
According to police, the fraternal twins were arguing over a small amount of money and the dispute escalated around 1:45 a.m.
Police said the suspect opened fire and wounded his twin brother once in the upper abdomen. The victim made it to a nearby apartment to call for help and was rushed to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police said Anthony Carl McJunkin remained at the scene until officers arrived. He was being held in the Bexar County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bond.
"What happened today is horrible. It's horrible," Jessica Ramsey-Allen, who lives at the Seven Oaks Apartments said.
Ramsey-Allen and some other residents said they are concerned about the violence at the apartment complex.
"You never know what might happen where you live. Anything can happen anywhere," Cherel Askew said.
Others said they stay safe by staying to themselves.
"I don't think anybody's gonna come up to me and just start shooting on me or anything, so I'm pretty sure it had something to do with something," April Jenkins said.
