SAN ANTONIO - On the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, people are still flying with a certain amount of fear, though those fears have diminished with time.
“(Every) time that you take a plane, the first thing to come to your mind is, 'Are we going to be next?'” said Gina Seppie, as she waited to board a flight at San Antonio International Airport on Tuesday.
But Jose Zamarippa was less concerned.
“In terms of flying, I feel safe," he said.
At the airport on Tuesday afternoon, the mood was more sentimental, as many airlines decorated their counters with American flags.
As for the airport itself, spokesman Rich Johnson said, "It’s business as usual.”
