San Antonio fire­fighter hit by car

Fire­fighter was taken to University Hospital with non-­life-threa­tening injuries


SAN ANTONIO - A San Antonio firefighter was hospitalized Thursday morning after being hit by a car at a North Side fire station.

The firefighter was directing a fire truck back into a stall at Fire Station 6 at 503 W. Russell Place at 7:50 a.m., when he was hit by the vehicle.

He was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
