Man found shot, killed at mobile home park on Southwest Military Drive

Victim believed to have been evicted from Caltex Mobile Home Park

SAN ANTONIO - A man found shot to death at the Caltex Mobile Home Park on Southwest Military Drive is believed to be the victim of a homicide.
San Antonio police said a resident at the park called 911 after 11:30 p.m. Sunday and said that a man had been found with a gunshot to his head.
Police said the man, who was in his mid 30s, was lying on the ground outside a mobile home next to a truck loaded with furniture and other personal items. They said they later learned the man had been evicted and was in the process of moving out.
Detectives said he suffered a single gunshot wound to his temple.
Early Monday morning, detectives began going door to door, asking neighbors in the mobile home park whether they had heard or seen anything. Detectives said, early on, that they had very little information regarding a suspect.
