Neighbor shot over loud music on Hollyberry Lane in South San Antonio

San Antonio police: Neighbor at University Hospital in critical condition; Suspected shooter arrested

SAN ANTONIO - An argument over loud music led to a man shooting his neighbor at a home in the 130 block of Hollberry Lane late Thursday evening, San Antonio police say.

Officers were called to the South Side home just before 11:30 p.m. for a call of shots fired.

San Antonio police investigators said the suspect showed up at the neighbor's home and asked the music be turned down or off.

The neighbor refused and the suspect returned with a gun and opened fire, hitting the neighbor in the neck and shoulder, San Antonio police said.

The 42-year-old neighbor was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

San Antonio police said the suspected shooter was arrested. Police have not said what charges he would face.
