SAN ANTONIO - Theft suspects Emilio Marin, 26 and Jason Trevino, 30, have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a home on Marshwood Street.

A woman called San Antonio police in July to report that jewelry had been stolen, an arrest warrant affidavit stated.

She told officers she not only had surveillance video of two suspects involved in the break-in, but had seen two men selling her stolen jewelry at a nearby business, the affidavit stated.

According to the affidavit, the woman went to The Old Mine Store the day after the burglary, looking for her stolen jewelry. She told police that’s when she observed two men at the business selling her jewelry.

San Antonio police were able to recover the stolen jewelry. They also obtained information on one of the men who sold it. The affidavit stated Trevino used his identification to make the sale.

Later, the victim identified Marin in a photo lineup. Both men have been charged with theft, the affidavit stated.
