Man wanted in ATM tampering

SAPD: Man damaged ATM at Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are asking for help in identifying the man who they said attempted to tamper with an ATM at an area credit union.

Police said the man was captured on surveillance video in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 26, using a screwdriver to try to damage the ATM at the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union located at 3181 Goliad.

No money was taken and the ATM was left with minor scruffs on its outer casing.

It is not known if the suspect was a credit union member.

He is wanted on a charge of criminal mischief.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts or his identity is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to his arrest.
