SAPD: Woman shot during botched drug deal

Victim shot in driver seat in apartment parking lot on East Rampart


SAN ANTONIO - A woman was shot during a botched drug deal late Thursday night on the city's North Side.

Police said two women were sitting in a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 100 block of East Rampart at 10:45 p.m. when two men they had contacted about the drug deal tried to rob them.

The driver was shot twice and was driven to a nearby McDonald's restaurant, where she was transported by University Hospital in serious condition.

No arrests have been made.
