Man Airlifted to University Hospital

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting on the city's Southwest side early Tuesday morning.

According to the police report, 27-year-old Carlos Moya was shot once in the head by a 22-year-old suspect in an empty lot at the corner of Port of Call and Old Sky Harbor just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

A witness told police that a 27-year-old suspect had sought revenge on Moya for previously talking to her.

Another witness told police that the two suspects and Moya began arguing in that field before the 27-year-old suspect took out a handgun but dropped it on the ground.

That's when the second suspect picked it up and allegedly shot Moya once in the head.

The suspects fled and Moya drove to a friend's home in the 8800 block of Old Sky Harbor where he was treated by EMTs before he was taken by AirLife to University Hospital.

San Antonio police's Eagle helicopter helped in the morning search but both suspects remain uncaptured.
