SAPD hunting for robbery suspects

Masked men rob Freddy’s Frozen Custard at gunpoint


SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying two robbery suspects.

The men are wanted for the May 11 robbery of Freddy’s Frozen Custard, located at 8843 Potranco Rd.

Police say the suspects managed to enter the building through a back door as a worker was taking out the trash.

Investigators say the suspects pointed a gun at the workers and demanded money from the safe.

The suspects were led to the safe, where a worker was held at gunpoint and forced to put money in a bag.

The robbers then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identities or their whereabouts are urged to call Crime Stoppers

at 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest of  the suspects.
