Yoda sells for $475 at SAPD auction

Life size statue among items seized at crime scenes

SAN ANTONIO - A life size Yoda sold for $475 Thursday night at an auction featuring items seized by San Antonio Police at crime scenes.

Most of the items were seized during drug busts.

KSAT 12 first aired a story about the seized Yoda back in July.

Juan Solis won the Yoda, which he said he bought as a surprise for his wife who loves Star Wars.

Solis says he was prepared to pay a max of $700 for Yoda.

The money made during SAPD auctions is split between the police department and the Bexar County District Attorney’s office.
