Family seeks answers after man falls from truck, dies

Greg Saenz, 36, died when he fell out of a moving truck

SAN ANTONIO - The family of a man who died apparently after falling from a moving vehicle, wants answers. 36-year-old Greg Saenz died early Saturday morning.

Saenz was apparently with his girlfriend at the time of the accident in the 2500 block of Jackson Keller. But the family said they haven't been given any information by police, including that he died.

Family members said the girlfriend called them five hours after the accident to tell them what happened.

"They drove home and they got into an argument and he jumped out of the vehicle, fell and hit his head on the curb," said Veronica Roller, the mother of Saenz's three daughters.

The girlfriend's family would not go on camera, but said Saturday they didn't believe there was an argument, and that the whole thing was an accident. But Saenz's family doesn't know what to believe.

Eloisa Segovia, Saenz's mother, said he was the youngest of her ten children. She said he was a family man.

"He was always smiling, always talking about his daughters," she said.

Police are asking for possible witnesses in the case to come forward. "We need answers," said Roller. "We need to know what's going on."
