Man arrested in online car scam

SAPD: Robert Dudley, 48, posed as car salesman online

SAN ANTONIO - A San Antonio man has been arrested for scamming people on websites like Craigslist and Auto Trader, San Antonio police said.\

On Wednesday, 48-year-old Robert Dudley was booked and taken to the Magistrate's office.

Police say he posed as a car salesman selling high-end vehicles online.

Once Dudley received the money, he would never deliver the vehicle, police said.

Police said that in most schemes, he never even owned the vehicle and that Dudley had victims all across the world.

He has been arrested once before for the same thing, according to police.
