City shows pride with parade for vets
SAN ANTONIO - Veterans and citizens lined the streets of downtown San Antonio Saturday afternoon to say thanks to those who have served in the military.
The festivities were part of the city's annual Veterans Day parade.
Active duty military and veterans all took part in the event.
"It gives us a chance to honor all the past veterans and all the present veterans... our active duty military," one spectator said.
"I have three sons that are active duty right now," another spectator said. "They've all served in Afghanistan or Iraq. I just want to wish them a happy Veterans Day."
