Bullet grazes man's head in West Side shooting

Suspected shooter arrested after shooting on Buena Vista Street


SAN ANTONIO - A man was arrested after firing a gunshot that grazed a man's head on the West Side early Friday morning.

San Antonio police responded to a call of shots fired around 3 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Street.

The suspected shooter barricaded himself inside the home when police arrived, but officers were able to talk outside and take him into custody.

San Antonio police said the victim was taken to the hospital, but they did not believe the the bullet penetrated his skull, and he was expected to recover.

Police have not released the suspect's name or said what led to the shooting.
