San Antonio police, Crime Stoppers offer $5,000 reward in Lone Star National Bank robbery

SAN ANTONIO - Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspected bank robber.
According to San Antonio police, the man is wanted in connection with the Nov. 23 robbery of the Lone Star National Bank at 7954 Fredericksburg Rd.
Police said the man, believed to be in his early 40s, approached two tellers at the bank and held up a note that read "give me all your money." The tellers told police they took marked bills out of their drawers and placed the money on the counter.
According to police, the man took the cash, exited through the front door, and fled north on foot toward Medical Drive.
A witness told officers the man got into a gold Pontiac Grand Am and drove east on Medical Drive toward Interstate 10.
