People injured, cars smashed in early morning accident
Police say speeding Mustang started chain reaction
SAN ANTONIO - Part of Interstate 10 was closed early Sunday after police say a speeding Mustang caused a pile-up.
It happened around 3 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Callaghan Road.
Police say witnesses reported a Mustang speeding over 100 miles an hour and weaving in and out of traffic.
Cars tried to avoid the speeding car and at least four ended up crashing into each other.
Several people were injured.
But the driver of the Mustang sped from the scene.
Part of the Interstate was closed for hours while the accident was cleared.
