What's happening this weekend

A look at some holiday-themed weekend events

SAN ANTONIO - The Fiesta De Los Luminarias continues this year on the Riverwalk.  The tradition includes lining the River Walk with candles.  It happens Friday through Sunday.

All weekend long is the Holiday Arts and Crafts show on the River Walk. Vendors will be out selling pottery, jewelry and fine art, and lots more. The show runs from Friday to Sunday at the River Walk extension, near the Chamber of Commerce.  Click here for more information.

If you are looking for a furry friend to share the holidays with, check out the "Howliday Party", a huge pet adoption event with more than 200 pets looking for a new home.  It's Saturday at Lifetime Fitness at the Rim, from 11:00am- 4:00pm. Plenty of pet products vendors and groomers will be on hand to help you get the best care for your new pet.

A unique way to celebrate the holidays is the URBAN 15's Holiday Laser Show.  The show has a new look this year, and some  updated music, along with the old Christmas favorites.  The shows run Friday-Sunday at 7:00 p.m.  There is also a 2:00 p.m. matinee show on Saturday.  Click here to buy tickets.
