Jaws of life used to cut driver from east side crash
Police say driver speeding when he lost control, hit pole
SAN ANTONIO - Police say speed was a factor in a crash early Saturday morning that left a man in critical condition.
It happened near Rambling Drive and East Houston on the city's east side just after 12:30 a.m.
Police say the driver was speeding down road when he lost control, hit the curb, then crashed into a utility pole.
Emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to the man out the car.
He was taken to SAMMC in critical condition.
