San Antonio police ID robbery suspect during domestic dispute call
SAPD: Evan Hardeman’s star tattoo helped victim ID him as robbery suspect
SAN ANTONIO - Evan Hardeman, 25, has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a North side business.
San Antonio police identified him after he got into a dispute with his girlfriend almost a month later, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
Police responded to the disturbance at Hardeman’s apartment in the 6200 block of Blanco Road on Dec. 8.
While they were there, they noticed some similarities between him and the description of a man who had robbed a nearby cleaning supply business on Nov. 17, the affidavit stated.
Police said in the description supplied by the store employee, the robber was said to have a tattoo of a star on his neck.
Hardeman has a similar tattoo in that same area of his body, the affidavit stated.
In addition, witnesses reported that the robber had run into an apartment complex nearby.
The affidavit stated that is the same complex where Hardeman lives. Hardeman was arrested Tuesday on a charge of robbery.
