Serial robbers steal $5,000 in cigarettes from Seguin store

Pair suspected in several robberies across Guadalupe County

SEGUIN, Texas - Guadalupe County authorities are searching for a pair of bandits wanted for a series of robberies across the area.

Seguin police believe the suspects robbed the Fuel Express on North Austin Street early Wednesday.

The Seguin Gazette reported the men were caught on surveillance video and pictured taking about $300 from the register and about $5,000 in cigarettes.

Police said the suspects used a tool to crack the locks but did not break any glass.

Investigators believe the pair have struck other stores in Seguin, New Braunfels, Guadalupe County, Marion, Luling and Lockhart over the past four months.

Police describe the suspects as white or Hispanic males between 19 to 30 years old with thin build. They typically wear some type of mask over their faces, officials said.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers at (830)303-TIPS(8477).
