Crime Stoppers need help in Heather Ann Willms murder case

SAN ANTONIO - The Leon Valley Police Department and Crime Stoppers of San Antonio are requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect responsible for the murder of a 22-year-old woman.

On Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, Leon Valley Police were called to the Shadow Valley Apartments in the 5600 block of Grissom Road.

When they arrived, they discovered the body of 22-year-old Heather Ann Willms, the victim of an apparent knife attack.

Willms was last seen alive in the early morning hours on Monday, Feb. 21, at a friend's apartment. She then left the apartment by herself and was never seen again.

Police say Heather was discovered by friends and family who were concerned because they were unable to make contact with her.

She was found in her bedroom and there were no apparent signs of forced entry.  

Investigators have no suspects at this time.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect involved in the murder.
