Police are asking for the public's assistance in helping to identify a man wanted for robbing a gas station in San Antonio.
The San Antonio Police Department said the robbery took place on Jan. 26 at the Carryon Shell Gas Station, located at 2606 NW Loop 410.
According to police, the man walked into the gas station and used the restroom. The man then walked towards the beer section of the store and grabbed four of the 18 packs of Budweiser Beer.
Those in the store told police they saw the man approach the front door in an abrupt manner, one of them getting in front of the man and attempting to stop him from stealing from the store.

The man then fled from the store on foot without paying. He then ran with another suspect, heading south on Vance Jackson after leaving the gas station.
Anyone with information regarding the man's identity or his whereabouts are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
Crime Stoppers said they will pay up to $5,000 for information that helps lead to the arrest of the man or people responsible for this crime.
