Northeast side San Antonio man victim of home invasion

SAPD: 2 intruders beat apartment resident, stole electronics, car

SAN ANTONIO - A resident in a northeast side apartment complex was shocked Friday morning when he answered a knock on his door.

Michael Dalessandro, 30, told police two men jumped him as he opened his door.

The pair hit him on the head and then grabbed an assortment of electronics equipment and dashed out of the apartment, he told police.

As they left, they grabbed Dalessandro’s car keys and sped away in his 2006 Pontiac G6.

“His head wound is keeping him from telling us more,” said San Antonio police Officer Ramiro Juarez.

Dalessandro was treated for head wounds at the scene but refused an EMS trip to the hospital.

“We’re trying to piece together exactly what happened and if he knows these people,” Juarez said. “Right now, it doesn’t seem that he knows them at all.”

Police are on the lookout for the man’s 2006 Silver Pontiac G6, license number BM-8-J804.
