SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District rates restaurant scores excellent to poor based on a demerit system.

The scoring is as follows:

0-10 demerits = excellent

11-20 demerits = good

21-30 demerits = acceptable

31 or more = poor

Following are the latest scores:

  • Leo’s Barbacoa, 5750 Medina Base Rd., no demerits
  • Marianito’s Extreme Tex-Mex Grill, 2102 Bandera Rd., no demerits
  • Southwest High School, 11960 Dragon Lane, no demerits
  • Amelia’s Taqueria Café, 1701 W. Martin, 3 demerits
  • Domino’s Pizza, 8442 Fredericksburg Rd., 6 demerits
  • Lupita’s Mexican Restaurant, 5923 Culebra, 7 demerits
  • Subway, 5545 N.W. Loop 410, 7 demerits
  • St. Mary’s University Cafeteria, 1 Camino Santa Maria, 7 demerits
  • Burger King, 5007 N.W. Loop 410, 8 demerits
  • Central Catholic High School, 1403 N. St. Mary’s, 8 demerits
  • Wingstop, 7959 Fredericksburg rd., 8 demerits
  • Firehouse Subs, 5887 Babcock, 8 demerits
