A pedestrian was hospitalized after he was struck by a driver leaving Wednesday evening's Spurs game at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio police said the man, identified as Jess Ramirez Jr., 26, attempted to walk across the road in the 1100 block of AT&T Parkway from east to west when he was struck by a car headed northbound.

Ramirez hit the windshield and flew over the vehicle, police said. He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center and was listed in critical condition.

According to San Antonio police, the 25-year-old female driver, identified as Megan Homan, was intoxicated and booked for DWI, but was not at fault for the crash.

A police investigation determined Ramirez crossed into the path of the car, and Homan was unable to avoid the collision.

A police report also stated Ramirez was wearing dark clothing and not crossing in a crosswalk.
