What's happening this weekend
SAN ANTONIO - Get in the Irish spirit with the Murphy's St. Patrick's Day River Parade and Festival. The event happens over two days and visitors can sample Irish music, dance and food. The festival will feature live entertainment at the Arneson River Theatre stage Saturday and Sunday. The river parade is on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The river will be dyed green for the festivities.
More Irish fun at the Sam's Luck O' the Irish Music Fest. The festival is at Sam's Burger Joint and offers two stages of live Irish music. There will also be fun activities for kids and, of course, green beer! It happens Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Click here for a full schedule of music.
And just outside of town is the St. Patrick's Day weekend celebration at the Boardwalk on Bulverde. It's a three-day Irish festival starting Friday night until Sunday. The event features food trucks, live music, and lots of activities for the whole family. Click here for more information.
Just for the kids, the quirky gang from Yo Gabba Gabba brings their live stage show to San Antonio. The group plays all the fan favorites at two shows on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the Majestic Theatre. Click here for tickets.
