Two men were arrested at their home Thursday for a shooting, police say.

Andres Madrigal and Zachery Smith have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Live Oak police officers said they were dispatched to the 11400 block of Toepperwein on March 9 for a shooting.

According to officers, a victim reported being fired upon while passing the car wash in the area.

Investigators said they found out the possible suspects resided at 11505 Forest Branch. Detectives executed a search warrant on March 9.

Detectives continued investigating and returned to the home on Thursday with a second search warrant and arrest warrants.

Both Madrigal and Smith were found in the residence and taken into custody without incident, police said.
