Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver arrested in Jacksonville
A former Miami Dolphins player was arrested Wednesday, accused of punching and abusing a teenage boy who was at the man's home playing video games.
According to an arrest report, Mark "Super" Duper, 54, got into a fight with the victim when the boy refused to pick up his hat off the floor. The report says Duper punched the teen, threw him to the ground and choked him. Police were told another man pulled Duper off the boy.
Duper with child abuse and booked into the Duval County Jail. The Department of Children and Families is also investigating.
Duper caught 59 touchdowns and was inducted into the Ring of Honor following an 11-year career with the Dolphins. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
