Police seized 12 pounds of synthetic marijuana from a convenience store this week.

The raid followed an eight month investigation.

The convenience store has since been closed. Police have obtained arrest warrants in connection with the case.

The substance, marketed with names like "Scooby Snacks" and "King Kong," appear to be marketed to kids.

Pleasanton school officials are educating students on the dangers of synthetic marijuana.

"We actually have a federally funded grant that brings in employees and counselors and teachers to work with our students specifically to educate them on the dangers and also the consequences of any drug use," said Linda Hall, a spokesperson for Pleasanton ISD.
