San Antonio attorney arrested in Internet sex crime sting
Robert Michael Bohanek solicited sex from undercover police officerl, AG says
A San Antonio attorney was arrested after he was caught trying to solicit sex over the Internet from someone he thought was a young teenage girl.
According to the Texas Attorney General's Office, Robert Michael Bohanek, 44, initiated and conducted sexually graphic online chats, and sent text messages and emails with the "teen," who was acually an undercover police officer.
During the communications, Bohanek sexually propositioned the "girl" and arranged to meet her in Cedar Park near Austin, the AG's office said.
When Bohanek arrived there on Saturday, police officers with the AG's Cyber Crimes Unit arrested him.
Officers confiscated a shopping bag Bohanek brought to the meeting that AG officials said contained women's clothing that was identical to the garments Bohanek had texted to the "girl" prior to the meeting.
Bohanek was charged with online solicitation of a minor and was released from the Williamson County Jail on $20,000 bond.
The suspect told AG officials that he was employed as an attorney with USAA.
