4 injured in North Side crash

SAPD: Speed possible factor in crash on West Avenue

Two adults and two children were hospitalized Monday evening after a crash on the North Side.

San Antonio police said the family's vehicle was headed south on West Avenue and made a left turn at Nassau when a car headed north slammed into it.

Police believe a child in the back passenger's side of the first car suffered possible internal injuries. The other family members were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the second car admitted to police he was speeding. Investigators said the driver at fault could be ticketed based on how fast he was going.
