San Antonio police seek Cricket robbery suspect

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for info­rmation that leads to arrest


Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a Cricket store on the Southwest side.

According to San Antonio police, the robbery took place just before 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the Cricket located in the 3400 block of S. Zarzamora St.

The store's manager told police the suspect walked into the Cricket with a black handgun, pointed the gun at her and another person inside the store, and demanded money.

The man ran behind the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and took off in a beige Ford Taurus. The car was later found parked at the intersection of Linares and Phyllis, but no one was inside.

Witnesses described the suspect as a tall man in his twenties.
