San Antonio police: Victim claims men beat, robbed him at Knights Inn motel

SAN ANTONIO - A man claims two men stole his cash and struck him in the head with a liquor bottle during a robbery at a northwest side motel room.

According to San Antonio police, the victim said he was staying at the Knights Inn near I-10 and Wurzbach when the two suspects came to the door around 1:30 a.m. Thursday to ask for gas money.

The victim said he planned to give the men a few dollars, but they attacked him instead and stole $1,500 from his wallet.

The victim said he lost consciousness and when he regained it, the suspects were gone.

Police have a vague description of the suspect because they say the victim said he could not remember much.
