Texas Dept. of Public Safety increases reward for top 10 fugitive sex offender
$15,000 offered for information that leads to arrest of Juan Villa, 36
The reward for information that leads to the arrest of one of Texas' 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders has been increased to $15,000.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), fugitive Juan Jose Villa, 36, has been wanted since 2008, has family in the San Antonio area, and his last known address was in Floresville.
Villa has been known to work as an auto mechanic, tire repairman, and floor stripper/buffer. His criminal history from Texas and Wisconsin includes indecency with a child by exposure, deadly conduct, theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and evading arrest or detention.
According to DPS, Villa is five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He has multiple scars, including on the insides of both of his wrists and over his left eyebrow. He also has burn scars on his chest, right shoulder, left shoulder and entire back.

Texas Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Text the letters DPS, followed by your tip, to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a tip on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Facebook page by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
