Teen claims he was stabbed while taking his girlfriend home

Teen claims group attacked him near southeast San Antonio apartment complex

A 17 year-old-boy was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds that he says he suffered during an attack in southeast San Antonio.

Police found the teen lying on the sidewalk near a bus stop in the 2300 block of Goliad Road just after 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said the victim told officers he had just dropped his girlfriend off at her home when a group of men attacked him and began to stab him.

The teen suffered multiple stab wounds, including cuts to his head, San Antonio police said.

He was rushed to a hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening,

Police said that the victim was not cooperative and they noticed some inconsistencies in his story.

For example, they said, the teen told officers he was attacked down the street from the Marigold apartments.

However, investigators said they found a trail of blood leading into that apartment complex.
