Thun­derstorms, showers likely in San Antonio area Tuesday night

Chances of showers at 60 percent Tuesday night

The San Antonio area will likely see showers and some strong thunderstorms tonight.

There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 11 p.m. Large hail and strong damaging winds will comprise the main threats.

KSAT Weather Authority Justin Horne says the threat for thunderstorms will end on Wednesday morning, but some showers are possible.

Horne predicts a low temperature of 65 for tonight and Wednesday morning should start off cloudy with a chance of showers.

Wednesday will likely see a high in the low 70s.

Chances for rain drop to 20 percent Wednesday night with a low around 50.
