Gunman who robbed store got away with $300; Another suspect stole TVs
SAN ANTONIO - Two local law enforcement agencies are seeking help from the public to identify two robbery suspects.
San Antonio Police released video Wednesday of a man who robbed a Southwest Side convenience store last January.
In the video the suspect, dressed in a black leather coat and wearing a surgical mask over his face, enters the Rios Food Mart located in the 5700 Block of S. Zarzamora and pulls a black revolver.
The suspect told the clerk to empty the cash drawer and then robbed a female customer who walked in during the hold-up. The man got away with about $300, said police.
SAPD believes the same man is linked to several other recent robberies. San Antonio Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the man's arrest.
In a separate case, Floresville police are asking for help to identify a man who allegedly stole TVs from the Walmart store located there.
The suspect was captured on video surveillance walking out of the store with the flat screen televisions in a shopping cart. The suspect got into a red car and left the parking lot.
Wilson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest. Their number is 830-393-4636.
