East San Antonio man opens fire on wife's lover

Victim grazed by bullet on Dorie Street, does not want to press charges


SAN ANTONIO - A man was shot early Wednesday morning in east San Antonio after he was caught with another man's wife.

San Antonio police said shots were fired just after midnight in the 350 block of Dorie Street.

According to investigators, the suspect caught his wife and another man together, and then went to the home on Dorie Street because he knew the man would be at the location.

Once there, the suspected shooter confronted the man and opened fired. A bullet grazed the victim's hand and he ran from the home.

The suspect then got into a car to look for the victim and fled the area.

Police said the victim was treated and released at the scene.

San Antonio police said they know the identity of the suspected shooter, but were not going to pursue the case because the victim did not want to press charges.
